Mary Ellen Wick entered into rest September 3, 2018. Born March 4, 1935, in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of Joseph and Kathryn (Conley) Shanley.  Mary Ellen worked for Dr. Muscato as his receptionist for 25 years. She was a lifetime member of St. Patrick's church where she served on several committees thru out the years, including the Alter and Rosary Society, was a member of the Elks, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and the 29 and Holding Club.

Mary Ellen was predeceased by her beloved husband, John P. Wick, in 2003, whom she was married to for 50 years. Beloved mother of Kathryn (Thomas) Miner, Molly (John) McGown, Gregory( Elisabeth) Wick, Maureen (Jerry) Brewer, John (Donna) Wick and Timothy Wick; cherished grandmother of Julie, Daniel (Maralyn), John (Barbara) and Dennis Miner, Andrew and Krista Bewley, Michael (Meghan), Megan and Molly Brewer, Patrick (Katie) and Jeffrey Wick, and Katie (Caleb) Earl; great-grandmother of Dominic Wegrzynowski and Harlee and Kenny Minor; dear sister of Barbara Kleinhans, Richard (Kay) Shanley and the late Susan Foltz and Michael Shanley; sister-in-law of Mary Cecelia Eichinger. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Wednesday at the Taylor and Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara St., where prayers will be held on Thursday at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at All Saints Parish at 10:00 AM. Interment Cold Springs Cemetery.  Condolences may be offered below, and flowers may be purchased through The Flower Barn.
