Obituary of Daniel S. Welch

Daniel S. “Dano” Welch, 56, of Pendleton, NY, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2025.

Daniel was a hard worker through and through. He spent his life most recently working on pools, but loved fixing cars, riding his motorcycle with his wife, and airbrush painting in his spare time. He loved his dog Abby and his cat Seymour. He enjoyed doing things with his hands and believed in putting in real effort—no shortcuts, no excuses. He took pride in a job well done.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jennifer Welch; daughter, Jessica Garay; grandchildren Aurelius, Maidianza, Serenity, Alizandra, and Vernard; and his sisters, Danielle Renaldo and Cynthia Iafallo.

Daniel didn’t say much, but when he did, you listened. He was a man who worked hard every day for everything he had and didn’t expect praise for it. That’s just who he was—and he’ll be missed by everyone who knew him.

There will be no prior visitation.  Private Services were held.
