Obituary of Deborah J. Kightlinger

Deborah J. Kightlinger (nee Brown) passed away on April 25, 2023 at Erie County Medical Center. A resident of Ransomville, New York for more than 40 years, she was born in Lockport, New York on July 21, 1954; the daughter of the late Franklin A. and I. Jean (Greenman) Brown. She was a graduate of Lockport Senior High School.

Debbie worked at many different jobs at businesses across Niagara County, retiring in 2014 from a food preparation position with Seneca Niagara Casino.

Debbie was predeceased by her husband Hebert K. Kightlinger, who passed away in 2005. Debbie is survived by her brother, Daniel F. Brown and his wife Kathleen McHale. She is also survived by her aunt, Eva Sattelberg (nee Brown) and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 4-7 P.M. at the Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara Street, Lockport, New York, where prayers will be held at 7 P.M. on Monday, May 1, 2023. Interment will be at a later date at North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria, New York.

    We camp with Debbie in the 70s with my sisters Paula & Beth an a huge Army tent which gave us my laughs,my sister Paula was a bridesmaid in her wedding and the dress she wore for the wedding I wore to my prom in 1980,I also worked with Debbie in the 80s at Fairchild nursing home and then in 2004 I moved back to Ransomville and lived down the road from Debbie and had a few conversations with her.have great memories of her ,sending prayers to her family.
