One of my favorite Lockportians who aged so gracefully his presence will be felt as long as I’m able to remember. I’m in NCarolina for the Winter, so please excuse my absence at Mass. Doc

Fran was one of the first people I met when I moved to Lockport and was a dear friend and neighbor of my husband Joe and his family. He became the GodFather of our daughter Sheila and was always close to us, He will definitely be missed,
Having just returned from the Christmas holiday visit in Florida, I was shocked to see one of my Favorite Lock street neighbors and friend had passed. I will definitely miss him at our St. Patrick’s schoolmate monthly luncheons.
My condolences on Fran’s passing and my apologies for missing his wake and Mass.
I always knew there was a family connection to the Furlong family, but I got to know Fran while working at M & T. I pumped as much Moran Family history as I could from him and he was always willing to help.
I thought of him in the past few months and am sorry I didn’t contact him. He will be missed.
