I knew Frank since I was six years old as well as his siblings.
I grew up in the ” West End” and Frank was a great guy, funny, loyal, kind, generous…..
I spent many a night with him over the years reminiscing at the Niagara Hotel about the old days in our neighborhood and how things had changed and not many people were ” old school ” any more and from time to time he’d stop by and visit with me at home over the years. He’ll be missed.
Anita, I’m sorry for your loses….
Sincerely,
Kenny Noble
Rest in Peace our friend. You will be missed.
Rest in peace
Rest in peace Frank. I knew Frank through business with him but quickly came to know him for his personal warmth and generous heart. Every time I make Frank’s special recipe for “the sauce” I think of him as part of the celebration at the table. He was generous with his heart and his recipe. And he will be missed. Deepest sympathy to Patty, all his family, and friends for your loss.
Just learned of Frankieās passing, I pray peace and strength to his family!
I am so sorry for your loss. I am not sure that this is the Frankie that I knew that lived in Newport News, Virginia. His father own the Papa D’Anglo’s pizza restaurants. He was my brothers and my husband friend. Which unfortunately they are also gone, all three of them. I think he lived on 73rd or 74th street in Newport News. He hung out at our house for years, he was like another brother of mine. I will be honest, i was just sitting here wondering how he was doing, so I looked his name up and this came up. The picture looks like it could have been him when he got older. I haven’t seen him since 1976. Either way he is missed and I am so sorry for you loss.
