Obituary of Frank Charles Qualiana

Frank Charles Qualiana, age 91, passed away peacefully at home in St. Petersburg, Florida, surrounded by his family. Born August 15, 1929 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of Charles Francis and Josephine Ann Frances (Enzinna) Qualiana.

Frank served in the U.S. Navy for four years, returning to Lockport where he worked as a barber in Lockport for many years with his father and brothers. Frank was a musician playing the sax at the age of 11. He played in school bands and many other bands all over upstate NY. He loved music, it was his passion.

In 1971 he moved his family to St. Petersburg, FL, where he worked as a barber until he retired. He also he played in many bands in different areas of Florida as well.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Sally Elaine (Tucker) Qualiana; beloved father of Cheryl Qualiana (Kevin) Falcone, Frank (Lisa) Qualiana, Jr., Charles Qualiana, Richard Qualiana, Mark Qualiana, Elaine Qualiana, and Kathleen Qualiana, all born in Lockport; grandfather of 12; great-grandfather of 20; and great-great-grandfather of six; brother of Charles Qualiana, Jerry (Susan) Qualiana and the late Joseph and Richard Qualiana.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021, from 11 AM  - 1 PM at the Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara St., Lockport, NY. Funeral services will immediately follow the calling hours and Military Honors will be held.
