Maria Ceccato, age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Briody HCF. Born September 8, 1937 in Mortegliano, Italy, she was the daughter of Gino and Maria (Garzitto) D'Olivo.

Maria arrived in American in 1957 and was married to Dino Ceccato on June 21, 1957 in Buffalo where Marie worked as a fabric cutter for M. Wylie Company for 10 years. The International Garment Company was famous for manufacturing the Johnny Carson suit line. Maria and Dino moved to Pendleton in 1977, where she worked for Harrison Radiator for the next 20 years, until her retirement to their home in Pendleton.

Maria is survived by her beloved husband, Dino Cecatto; and is the loving aunt of two nieces and three nephews.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Monday at the Taylor and Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara St. where prayers will be held Tuesday morning at 9:15 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd.

Donations to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
