Mark Matyas, 65, of Lockport, NY, passed away on September 2, 2026.
Born on September 22, 1960, Mark lived a life full of the things he loved most. An avid golfer and bowler, he enjoyed spending time on the course and at the lanes, and he was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan. Mark also had a great love of movies and a soft spot for dogs.
Mark is survived by his wife, Susan Matyas; his children, Caroline Matyas of Mentor, Ohio, and Tommy Matyas of Willoughby, Ohio; and his brothers, Thomas Matyas and Michael Matyas, both of Buffalo, NY.
Mark will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Per the family's wishes, there will be no public service or wake. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's memory may be made to the SPCA of Erie County.
