Obituary of Melody James

Melody Jane James passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Born on July 25th, 1954 the daughter of the late Joseph Note, Maybelle M. (Wills) Covell, and adopted father Robert Covell.

Melody worked maintenance for over 5 years at Wyndham Lawn. She loved spending time with her family and will be sadly missed by all. Melody is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Timothy James and her children Richie Zimmerman, David Zimmerman, Nicole Rivera (James), and Nathan James along with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters Sandy Heffernan, Sharon Hallatt, Linda Culliver, Jackie Ritz, Charles Specht. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be provided by the family.

    Melody worked for me at Family Dollar for 10 years. She was a kind dedicated responsible employee. She leaves this earthly world to enter a place with a loving God.

    RIP Melody,we were Friends many, many years ago. In fact David was a Baby at the time. I’m so sorry to hear of her Passing.
