Obituary of Philip Stahli

Philip Stahli entered into rest after a long and courageous fight with cancer under the care of Niagara Hospice and his loving family.
Born December 29, 1980, he is the beloved son of Doug and Ellen (Page) Stahli.

Beloved father of Jared (Carilena) and Jenna. Cherished brother of Craig (Ana) and Carissa(Kemar). Dear uncle to Hunter and Tristyn to whom he was Godfather to. Beloved girlfriend Melissa. Also survived by the mother of his children Lane Bordeau and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Phil was the owner of Stahli General Contracting and was an avid BILLS fan. The family encourages Bills attire for his wake and Funeral.

In addition to owning his own business, he was a member of Roofer’s Local Union No. 74, Buffalo, NY. Always hard working and dependable. He was a mentor at work, looked up to by so many and always leading by example.

Phil’s pride and joy are Jared and Jenna, cheering them on with sports and school. They were always making him proud. Phil was dedicated to all his family and friends. He was relied on by many for his unconditional support and love. Family first with all friends becoming family. He was looked up to and admired by
everyone, a HERO to all. Phil loved to hunt and fish. So many fond memories with his dad and brother while hunting and fishing. His godson Tristyn was also his fishing buddy.

He was always making sure his mom and sister had his love and support. Simply put- Phil was a legend, a fighter. A perfect example of what a man and father should be. To Jared and Jenna, he was. . . . .” HIM”

It took a few days for me to be able to sit down and write this. I didn’t know Phil as long as some others but it felt like a knew him forever. We instantly hit it off and became good friends. Phil and I would laugh so hard it hurt. Anytime we’d see each other it was a hug, not a handshake. I will miss being able to hug my dear friend. Phil would give you the coat off his back in a snow storm. He was one of the most kind hearted, funniest, and coolest dudes I knew. As everyone already knows he was a super dad who always put family first. Jared and Jenna are living proof of how good of a father Phil was. A family man in its true meaning. Phil introduced me to many firsts, including ice fishing and for that I will be forever be grateful. He would call me coach and we would have these ridiculous impromptu wrestling matches anywhere we were at any moment. We’d always end up laughing our asses off afterwards. He opened his home to all and made you feel like part of his family. Phil was what all human beings should strive to be. I know Phil is looking down and telling me “don’t cry Coach, don’t cry, you should be laughing”. Until we meet again brother. Thank you for enriching my life and blessing me with your friendship. I love you dearly. 🫂

He left a lasting impression on everyone he meant. We will cherish the memories and special times we had with Phil. Love and miss you forever Phil.

My heart is with Doug, Ellen, Craig, Carissa and Phil’s two beautiful adults kids Jared,Jenna and his Godson Tristyn.
Phil was a great father and a inspiration to anyone who had a chance to meet him. Phil was a pleasure to be around he was a person that never complained about the situations that came up in his life. He faced them head on with the faith that we all should live by. If there was ever a man that lived a life to the best of their ability it was PHIL. Phil will be missed by all of us who knew him. Most importantly he will be loved in our hearts until we meet him in heaven

From what I read,Phillip will be watching over yous like you did him. He will never leave you.carry him in your ❤️ heart. Speak of him often and never let others forget. If you need anything.
