Obituary of Regina M. Thompson

Regina M. Thompson, 48, of Lockport, New York, passed away unexpectedly on September 01, 2023. Regina was born on April 28, 1975 to William S. Mumau and Jane L. Hill. She is survived by her daughters Shamaru J. Lewis and Paris J. Robertson as well as her granddaughters Shaylyn J. Dowell and Serayah M. Dowell. She leaves behind her sisters Tina Dugos, Linda (George) Dimsey, Carol Edwards, Brandi (Keith) Taylor, and Susan Mumau.

She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and her husband Richard Thompson.

Gina was a homemaker and will be remembered for her loving yet tell you like it is personality and sense of humor…always with something smart to say or a joke that would have you crying from laughing. She loved to travel and flamingos. Through the years her outgoing personality helped her in providing childcare to many kids. Most importantly Gina or “Nina” as many called her loved her family!

The family will be honoring her requests for privacy. A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later time.
