So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. We had many wonderful experiences in 4-H Club and attended Cornell for undergrad and graduate school. He was a good friend and I’m sorry we lost touch after college. Rest in peace Bob.

I hadn’t seen Bob in many years but I am saddened to hear this news. I was an undergrad when I met Bob. The breadth and depth of his knowledge was immediately apparent and I wound up taking three of his classes, majoring in entomology and making a career of it. I consider myself so fortunate to have had him as a teacher and mentor. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.
