Rose Irwin entered into rest on May 11, 2022. Born October 16, 1952, in Lockport, she was the daughter of Michael and Fannie (Dinocenzo) DeFabbio.
Rose retired from Harrison's/Delphi in 2001, was an avid bowler and softball player, and was an animal lover.
Beloved mother of Damon (Pam) Eyre; Cherished grandmother of Randy (Hana) Hildebrant, Jeanette (Jason) Collins; Great grandmother of Jackson; Dear sister of John DeFabbio, Mary Lou (Ron) Gilbert, Daniel (Julie Kramp) DeFabbio; Dear aunt of Mike, Marc and Matthew DeFabbio, Tonya (Val) Sluch, Carleen and Gabrielle DeFabbio. Also survived by many cousins and friends.
Friends may call from 4-8 on Friday at the Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara Street, where a service will be held at 8:00 pm. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Memorials to the S.P.C.A. or the American Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. Due to rising Covid rates, masks are suggested.
Thoughts and prayers to Rose’s family. I haven’t seen Rose in a very long time. I have always remembered our days at Emmett Belknap, running down to the Royal for vanilla cokes and chips for lunch, then running back..lol. Riding the horses over at Rainbow Stables. Rose was always full of life.
