Obituary of Ruben Cheatham

Ruben Cheatham age 56 passed away peacefully March 26, 2024 following a long illness. He was born November 8, 1967 in Lockport, New York. He was the son of the late Richard Cheatham and Elizabeth Wright.

Ruben is survived by his wife Delphine (Barton) of Lockport. He leaves a daughter Katelyn and a son Ruben Jr. Ruben was the grandfather of A’niyah and A’Kaden. Ruben leaves a dear companion Delenda Bianachi.

Ruben is the beloved brother of Richard E (Amy) and brother-in-law of Jeanie Harris. He was predeceased by a brother Jerry Harris of Riverside, California. Ruben leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ruben previously worked at Superior Powder and Coating. He attended Lockport schools and graduated at Lockport High School. He loved sports and telling long stories that were funny. He loved listening to ministry on YouTube. Ruben will truly be missed by his loved ones.

    I always had good times and conversations with Ruben, One of my long time child hood RB Kelly friends, I will miss him allways enjoyed a good laugh with him. So sad

    Ruben had a great sense of humor. He was kind and compassionate to other people, the thing I
    Will remember the most about him is that he always stuck up to bullies of other people. So sorry for your loss. He was a great friend to others.
