Obituary of Tracy Holmes

We are sad to announce the death of Tracy Holmes, son of Herbert (Florence) Holmes and Gladys Schluyer.

He is survived by his father, a brother, Scott of Medina, a sister, Danielle (Jim) Lucas of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; two uncles, Bill (Joan) of Middleport and Thomas (Liam) of Alabama two nieces, Bailey Marie and Gabrielle (Stevie) Starr; one nephew, Evan of Florida.

Tracy graduated in 1981 from Barker Central School. After graduation he was employed at the Lockport YWCA before accepting a position at the Lockport School District as a maintenance engineer for 33 years, retiring in November of 2024.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 2 p.m. at Solid Rock Assembly of God Church, 8590 Rochester Road, Gasport. The Rev. David Hayes will officiate. Arrangements are being made at Taylor and Reynolds Funeral Home.
