Vernon E. Winchell passed away on April 17, 2019. Born September 4, 1939, he was the son of Leslie and Hazel (Apker) Winchell. Vernon enjoyed going to the races and spending time with his family.
Beloved husband of 51 years to Sharon Winchell; beloved father of Dennis (Susan) Winchell, Sandra (Thomas) Eisenmann, Richard (Trisha) Winchell, Kenneth (Sherry) Winchell, David (Carol) Winchell, Teresa Winchell, Amanda (Martin) Deming and the late Daniel and Lori Anne Winchell; many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; dear brother of Agnes Winchell, Shirley Brown and the late William and Charles Winchell.
Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Wednesday and Thursday at the Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara Street, where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 2 PM. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Condolences may be offered below, and flowers may be purchased through The Flower Barn.

My grandfather was a good man, still is probably just smoking a cigarette and telling jokes with Uncle Richie.
