Andrew Sean Niziol, born April 27, 1996, died suddenly doing what he loved on May 7, 2024 in Lake Tahoe, California. He was the beloved son of Christi (Brian) Stevens and Drew (Mallory) Niziol. Grandson to Margorie Oehmler, Mary Sherman and Andy Niziol. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Jim Delahunt, and Tim Oehmler.

Andrew was born at Sister’s Hospital in Buffalo, NY. His family anxiously awaited his arrival as the first grandson and nephew. A native of Lockport, NY, Andrew attended Washington Hunt Elementary School, Emmet Belknap and Lockport High School.

Andrew was an avid golfer, snowboarder and adventurer. He would do anything for a good laugh shared with family and friends. That led to a career that was a perfect fit in the service industry. His career, hobbies, and interests took him out west to Lake Tahoe and Phoenix.

Andrew..What can I say that hasn’t already been said but I’ll relate my story. I met Andrew shortly after he moved to AZ. He tended bar at the RV resort where I lived. Yes, I’m old but I will never forget meeting him for the 1st time. I looked at him & said WTHeck did u come from & when he said “Buffalo” I understood. He gave me lip every time I came in & he called me “Gramps” & we became friends. I was fortunate enough to be invited to his parties (hey mom, not that many) & played golf with him MANY times. I was lucky enough to meet his mom (Christie). Meeting Andrew & hanging out with a young man like him changed me in ways I can’t explain. What a LOSS! I think about him every day. He was a TREASURE. I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ U man & I will always miss u!
